About us

Founded over 25 years ago by Haji Mohammed Rafique Khan, Selly Park Masjid & Community Hub has grown from a local mosque into a vibrant centre at the heart of the community. Our mission is to create a welcoming hub where people can worship, learn, connect, and thrive.

Alongside our religious services, we deliver a wide range of community initiatives including a food bank, children's classes, youth programmes, interfaith collaborations, social spaces, and retreats. Through faith, service, and meaningful engagement, we aim to support individuals and families while strengthening the wider community for generations to come.

This photograph shows our mosque more than a decade ago. What began as a modest place of worship and learning has grown into a vibrant centre serving the local community.
